Start here — quick setup
Watch the setup walkthrough, then follow the steps underneath if you want the written version.
If you already installed PostPress AI before today, you can skip the install part and jump straight to license + site activation.
- Download & activate the plugin ZIP in WordPress: Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin → Install → Activate.
- Activate your license: go to PostPress AI → License, paste your activation key (from your email) and click Activate. If you don’t see the email within a few minutes, check spam/promotions (and Apple “Hide My Email” inbox if used).
- Activate your site: go to PostPress AI → Sites (or the first-run screen) → click Activate this site → confirm it shows active.
If you upgraded or downgraded your plan
What happens next: your plan updates automatically and your limits refresh shortly after.
- Nothing to reinstall. Your plugin stays the same.
- Your plan limits refresh after activation (or within a couple minutes).
- If you increased your site limit, you can activate additional sites right away.
- Complete the setup in the Start Here section above.
- Open PostPress AI → License and confirm the plan shown is your new plan.
- If the plan doesn’t update within a few minutes: refresh once, then re-open the License screen.
If you purchased a token top-up
What happens next: your tokens are added to your balance. (Top-ups roll over.)
- Your token balance should update shortly after purchase.
- Top-up tokens are meant for extra usage when you push harder than your plan’s monthly allowance.
- If you don’t see the updated balance after a few minutes, it’s usually a quick sync issue — not lost tokens.
- Complete the setup in the Start Here section above.
- Open the PostPress AI dashboard and check your token balance.
- If the balance looks unchanged: refresh once, then check again.
If you purchased the done-for-you package
What happens next: we’ll reach out with onboarding steps so we can start doing the work for you.
- You’ll receive an email with your onboarding checklist and the next step (usually a short intake form).
- We may ask for access details (or a temporary user account) depending on what you purchased.
- Once onboarding is complete, we’ll confirm the schedule and deliverables.
- Complete the setup in the Start Here section above so your site is activated.
- Watch for the onboarding email and complete the requested steps.
- If you don’t see the onboarding email, jump to the help section below.
