PostPress AI — Tyler Hatter Release Setup
This page is for you if you already have Tyler Early Access.
- You paid your $49.
- You downloaded the PostPress AI plugin ZIP (from the thank-you page or email).
- You have Wayne’s email with your connection details.
Good news: you don’t need to be techy for this. Just follow the steps in order.
And yes — you’ll do this inside your WordPress dashboard. No extra tools. No browser extensions. No copy/paste circus.
Before you start, grab these 3 things
- Your WordPress login
- The PostPress AI plugin ZIP file
- Wayne’s email with your connection details
If anything looks different on your screen, pause and reply to Wayne’s email with a screenshot. He’ll help you get it sorted.
Here’s exactly what we’ll do (step by step)
- Quick check: make sure you have the ZIP + the connection email handy.
- Install the plugin: upload the PostPress AI plugin ZIP to your WordPress site.
- Paste your connection details: copy them from Wayne’s email into the PostPress AI Settings screen.
- Test the connection: confirm it says you’re connected.
- Make your first real draft: open Composer → click Generate Preview.
- Save it the normal WordPress way: click Save Draft (Store) so it lands in WordPress as a draft.
Important: PostPress AI creates drafts. WordPress handles publishing whenever you decide you’re ready.
Go one step at a time. If anything feels confusing, stop and ask for help. You’re not doing this alone.
No complicated options. This is the simple setup path everyone uses.
When you finish: hit reply to Wayne’s email and send either (1) a screenshot of your first draft, or (2) what felt confusing (if anything). That helps tighten the setup for the next person.
